Toni Osorio & Balbina Garcia
Vinyes que Atrapen is a project led by Balbina Garcia and Toni Osorio, dedicated to the recovery of abandoned vineyards in the Costers de l'Anoia region of Catalonia. Their commitment to the land is profound.
Without using tractors, they incorporate organic matter—such as manure, compost, and forest microorganisms. They do not use any synthetic products, pesticides, or insecticides. The vineyards coexist with local fauna and flora, which become their best allies. The soil, worn out by intensive farming, gradually recovers thanks to regenerative practices.
In the winery, the respect for nature continues. The only raw material is the grape, and everything needed to produce wine comes directly from the vineyard. They work with native grape varieties and carry out spontaneous fermentations using indigenous yeasts. Clarification occurs naturally, through gravity and the cold of winter, until bottling. No preservatives are added, except for small doses of sulfites on rare occasions.
