Tiago Teles
In 2012, Tiago Teles embraced the opportunity to produce his own wine, alongside his father, following a philosophy of preservation and respect for nature and the original territory of Bairrada. More recently, Tiago Teles ventured into the Vinhos Verdes region, where he has been exploring native grape varieties and the wines they produce.
Tiago's respect for authenticity goes beyond the work in the vineyard, extending to the winery, where he is concerned with maintaining the true expression of the grapes he uses, limiting any interventions that could distort it. Co-fermentation of batches in a traditional lagar or cement tanks without remontage is common practice to achieve greater harmony and cohesion in the final blend. The wines are then aged in used oak barrels or cement tanks.
Tiago produces wines that are genuine and ethical, respecting the identity of those who produce them and the place where they originate.
