João Tavares de Pina produces his wines on the family estate, Quinta da Boavista, located in Penalva do Castelo. The estate covers 13 hectares of vineyards with soils of granite, clay, and schist, at altitudes ranging from 450 to 600 meters.

At Quinta da Boavista, João Tavares de Pina follows a natural winemaking approach with minimal intervention in the winery, low sulfur content, and no filtration. He follows the philosophy of respecting nature, emphasizing biodiversity in the vineyards. This approach allows native species like chamomile, lavender, and various legumes to thrive, enhancing the relationship between the vineyard and other species.

Approximately 45,000 bottles of elegant, distinctive, and daring wines are produced at Quinta da Boavista.
